## August 2026 — Account, Billing & Onboarding

### Added

* **Billing Infrastructure:** Paddle.com Market Ltd. added as Merchant of Record for subscription management.
* **Billing UI:** New dashboard page featuring subscription status and lifecycle banners.
* **Account Management:** Introduced self-service account deletion and email preference settings.
* **Localization:** Dashboard is now fully translated into German (full i18n support alongside English).

## August 2026 — MVP Launch

* **Public Release:** Initial public launch of EiraSync.
* **Infrastructure:** Managed CouchDB hosting for Obsidian LiveSync, hosted exclusively in the EU (Germany, via Hetzner).
* **Security:** End-to-end, zero-knowledge encrypted synchronization (encryption keys never leave your devices).
* **Vault Management:** Dashboard for vault creation, deletion, and storage usage monitoring.
* **Data Protection:** Automated, encrypted nightly off-site backups.
* **Plans:** 14-day free trial (no credit card required, 1 vault, 3 GB storage) and paid plans supporting up to three vaults.
* **Data Lifecycle:** Automatic read-only mode for 30 days after subscription cancellation or expiry, followed by permanent data deletion.
